NEW JERSEY

In New Jersey, a voter in the primary must be registered to a political party. If you are a registered voter and want to change your party affiliation, you must do so 55 days before the primary in order to vote. To submit a new voter registration online in New Jersey, which also allows you to change your political party affiliation, you should visit the New Jersey online voter registration website. There, you'll need to fill out the required fields with your personal and identification details. During this process, you will have the option to select or change your political party affiliation. Once all the necessary information is entered, simply follow the on-screen instructions to submit the form. This will effectively update both your voter registration and party affiliation.
